Boston
Other than the obvious answer of my own restaurants Radius, Via Matta, Alta Strada and 606 Congress, I’m going with….
Oishii
Ask for Ting. This is one of our country’s great sushi restaurants and
I’m lucky enough to have it on my street. Impressive and delicious! Do
not miss the best bite in Boston, The Spicy Tuna Tartar Cucumber Hand
roll with Crispy Tempura bits. www.oishiiboston.com
B and G Oysters
A great place in the South End. Amazing variety of oysters and don’t miss
the lobster roll and homemade french fries, best in town. www.bandgoysters.com
Anything from Ken Oringer.
Check out Toro, Clio, La Verdad……all great, all different styles of cooking,
and tell him I sent you. Make sure you ask for the waffles at Clio, they’re
not on the dinner menu, but Kenny will make them special for you. www.toro-restaurant.com,

Myers + Chang
Owned by my former partner at Radius and Via Matta, Christopher Myers and his
way better half, Joanne Chang. The food is delicious, spicy, the room
is fun, and the music great. Make sure you get Mama Chang’s Dumplings
and the Tiger’s Tears Salad. www.myersandchang.com
Stella
Great for late night pizza, antipasti and a hoppin’ bar scene. Make sure
you ask for Evan. www.bostonstella.com
Grill 23, upstairs bar only.
In my opinion, the best steak, other than Radius, in the city. Go and sit
upstairs where it’s a bit calmer and quieter but the food is just as
good. Amazing wine list. www.grill23.com
Jasper’s Summer Shack
Jasper White is like a supermodel in the chef world, a true icon. His Summer
Shack is like a day at the beach……a really good beach that is with terrific,
perfect New England seafood. www.summershackrestaurant.com
Blue Ginger
Although about a 20 minute drive outside of Boston in the town of Wellesley,
Ming Tsai is making some of the most interesting East meets West cuisine
in the country. Make sure you tell him hello and ask him how many rounds
of golf he’s gotten in this week! www.ming.com
Dante
One of my favorite places in Cambridge is Dante. Although often considered to be it’s own country, Cambridge has lots of fun places and Dante is at the top of that list. www.restaurantdante.com
Lineage
Just outside of Boston in Brookline is Lineage where Chef Jeremy Sewall is making delicious American food. Order his seafood tasting and be amazed. www.lineagerestaurant.com
